Hi, I'm Alex. A few years ago, I noticed something that bothered me at every family gathering: everyone was staring at their phones instead of at each other. We were technically capturing memories — but missing the moment entirely.

That's when Giles and I started asking: what if a camera could bring people back into the moment instead of pulling them away from it?

We built Retro-Loox to answer that question.

Inspired by the charm of vintage camcorders and the satisfaction of pressing a real physical button, we designed a camera that's simple enough for a first-time photographer and beautiful enough to sit on a shelf. No apps, no complicated menus — just point, shoot, and relive your memories on the screen instantly.

Based in Munich, Germany, we work closely with our manufacturing partners to ensure every Retro-Loox camera meets our quality standards before it reaches you. We stand behind every order. If something isn't right, we make it right — no questions asked.
